Regular Inspection
Inspect all parts of the swing weekly, including ropes and chains for wear and breakage, and connections such as screws and clips for looseness. Replace parts or tighten connections promptly if problems are found.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the swing surface regularly with a damp cloth to remove dust and stains. For wooden swings, apply wax to maintain the wood's shine and resilience; apply rust-preventive paint to metal parts to prevent rusting.

Avoid Overloading
Use the swing strictly according to its weight-bearing instructions. Avoid multiple children using the swing beyond its weight capacity simultaneously to prevent damage to parts.

Proper Storage
In inclement weather such as heavy rain or strong winds, the swing should be stored away or protected. When not in use for extended periods, disassemble the swing and store it in a dry, well-ventilated place to prevent damage to parts.
