Climbing nets mainly come in three types: plastic, metal, and nylon.
1. Plastic Climbing Nets
- Advantages: Relatively low price, rich colors, various colors can be selected to meet different site design needs, and the appearance is relatively aesthetically pleasing. It also has a certain degree of flexibility, reducing injuries to climbers upon collision.
- Disadvantages: Relatively low strength, prone to aging and cracking under long-term exposure to wind and sun and frequent use, resulting in a relatively short lifespan.
2. Metal Climbing Nets
- Advantages: High strength, able to withstand greater weight and impact, ideal for use in large playgrounds or professional climbing training areas. It has good durability and strong corrosion resistance; with proper rust prevention treatment, its lifespan can be very long.
- Disadvantages: Heavier weight, relatively complex installation process, requiring professional tools and personnel. Furthermore, the surface temperature of metal climbing nets may rise in hot weather, posing a risk of burns to climbers.
3. Nylon Climbing Net
- Advantages: It has good elasticity and flexibility, providing a comfortable climbing experience. Nylon material also has good abrasion and water resistance, making it less prone to damage.
- Disadvantages: The price is relatively high, and it may age to some extent under prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light.
